Guest Talk on Astronomy : Kandy Model National School

The Astronomical Society of University of Peradeniya organized a visiting guest lecture to the Kandy Model National School, Uyanwattha, Polgolla on the topics of constellations, birth and death of a star, basics of astronomy, conducted by, Mr. Hasitha Samarakkody, Mr. Uditha Jayathilake, Ms. Gothami Dissanayake on 8th December 2022.


Guest Tak - NASA's New Horizons Mission to Pluto, the Kuiper Belt and Beyond

The Astronomical Society of University of Peradeniya organized a guest lecture on the topic “NASA’s New Horizons Mission to Pluto, the Kuiper Belt and Beyond” conducted by Dr. Henry Throop, Astronomer at NASA headquarters in Washington, DC on 15th December 2022 at the P1 lecture thater.


Observation Night: 27th July 2023

The Astronomical Society of University of Peradeniya successfully organized a telescope aligning and focusing workshop on the 27th July 2023.
